TruNort is a listing directory focused on highlighting Canadian goods and services. The project started out as a simple quest for more knowledge on the claim “Made in Canada”. Investigation revealed countless complexities of marketing techniques and labeling.
In the end, the trivial quest for more information developed into a responsibility as a customer to take on a different perspective on products and services. Thus, a reflexive approach was taken on the data, and the idea of a project began to formulate.
Based on the understanding that there is great potential in the development of national and interprovincial representation. Trunort.ca directory was born with the mission to showcase the innovative potential of the Canadian social-economic sector. 
Financial transparency
In order to provide our basic FREE service TruNort offers the ability for customers and partners to DONATE to the project. We currently don’t charge for creating a listing on our platform. This allows everyone to be able to afford the ability to showcase their products or services without restrictions.
Our future plan does include the addition of promotions and extra features that will require payment, however these added aspects will be optional. Moreover, instead of relying on third-party advertising, we provide custom ad space internally. Thus, allowing the platform information to remain constant, serving both customers, users and listing owners.
