Black Sheep Mattress Company

Black Sheep Mattress began with a belief that there was a better way to make and sell mattresses. With a reverence for quality craftsmanship, and a growing awareness of the negative health and environmental impacts of the materials and chemicals used in conventional mattress manufacturing, owner Christian Schmidt set out to bring the traditional art of mattress-making to the Calgary market in 2011.

The values of quality, sustainability and investing in the local community have grown with the company, and we've been building beds that we're proud to put our name on since then.

Our workshop and showroom is located in Calgary, Alberta where it all began. We ship across Canada.
